Abstract

This research was conducted at CV Malaka Farm, Soppeng Regency. The location was chosen purposively by considering CV. Malaka Farm is one of the companies in Soppeng Regency that cultivates Hydroponic Plants. The research was conducted for 3 (three) months, namely from January to March 2024. Informants in this study were managers and workers at CV Malaka Farm. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility and comparison of NPV and IRR using Smart System Hydroponics with Manual System Hydroponics on lettuce plants at CV. Malaka Farm, Soppeng Regency. The research method uses NPV and IRR calculation techniques. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that this business is not feasible due to the large investment incurred by the company. In terms of NPV analysis, which shows negative calculation results for both the smart system hydroponic model and the manual hydroponic system. The results of the feasibility analysis using IRR also show that this business is 41% larger than the specified discount rate of 10% and 13%.
