Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Video Pembelajaran Interaktif terhadap Minat Belajar IPAS pada Materi Ekosistem Siswa UPT SMKN 3 Wajo

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using interactive video learning media on students' interest in learning science, specifically ecosystems, at SMKN 3 Wajo. The research method used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type and a Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The study population was all 70 students at SMKN 3 Wajo. The sample consisted of two classes selected using purposive sampling techniques: an experimental class of 21 students using interactive videos combined with student worksheets (LKPD), and a control class of 19 students using conventional methods. The research instrument was a learning interest questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using an Independent Samples T-Test and effect size calculations. The results showed a significant difference between the experimental and control classes, with a significance value of <0.001. The effect size of 5.18 is considered very high, confirming that interactive video media significantly increased students' learning interest.
